More information

Mary, Jesus & St John the BaptistIf you would like to join the Schola or would just like to find out more please complete and submit the enquiry form below.

The Schola, including its Director, is strictly amateur and welcomes members over a wide range of singing experience and abilities.   There are no auditions and training is entirely "on the job".

We are always on the lookout for new members in all four main voices: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.

Commitment - We can be flexible!

The Schola normally sings and rehearses throughout the liturgical year.   However the Schola is an amateur group so, whilst in an ideal world we would like everyone to join us every time we are rehearsing or singing, we recognise that this is not always possible. The only thing we ask is that, as far as possible, you let us know in advance if you cannot attend on a given date.   That way we can plan the music according to who will be there.

Latin

Worried you can’t sing in Latin?   Then you needn't be!   No-one – including the Director – claims to be fluent in Latin so, wherever possible, English translations are provided for those with little or no familiarity with Latin.
